vs 3G == > UE-AMBR

UE-AMBR : Wondering whether there is any funda available in 3G.
Still clueless on how to restrict the traffic per user in RNC.
Offcourse we have MBR/GBR for dedicated ones.
But on the whole per UE.. Clueless..

In 4G network we have UE-AMBR to restrict the traffic in eNB per user.
So basically if the traffic falls within in the limit of APN-AMBR in UE
then it is passed through the tunnel.
Once it reaches the eNB, gate will be opened if it satisfies the UE-AMBR.
Looks like UE-AMBR has a critical role to play.

But since this is missing in 3G, how is the mapping happen when moving to 4G for GnGp?
interesting...
For TAU initiated, offcourse there will be request thrown on HSS.
Since there is no HSS communication in case of srns it is up to the operator to decide.
Having a local configuration in MME will do.
